Elevate Your Career as a Finance System Expert!

Join the Avanti West Coast Finance team and take charge of SAP and Neptune systems. You'll support the Executive Finance Director, the Executive team, and the wider business with strategic financial planning, forecasting, management accounting, and statutory reporting. Collaborate with IT and the Group SAP team to optimize our systems and be the go-to person for all queries. Ready to make an impact?

Key Accountabilities:

• Ownership of all aspects of the Finance System SAP & Neptune.
• SAP Maintenance - reverse accrual journals, create new cost centres & expense codes, and map within Avanti Hierarchy.
• Neptune & Approval Routings - periodic reviews with Business Partners.
• Update Department Delegated Authority Matrix.
• Setup of new Purchase Material Codes.
• User Queries & Training - setup new SAP/Neptune users and conduct training surgeries.
• Ownership of user queries through System Admin mailbox.
• Liaise with Group SAP & IT to resolve system configuration issues.

Person Specification:

• Basic understanding of accounting.
• Awareness of developments in new technology.
• Ability to work with and support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS), and dynamic reporting in reporting systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
• Previous experience with SAP and ERP system maintenance is essential.

Qualifications Required:

Studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
