Our IT Project Delivery & Solutions and Digital Transformation Teams are at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge technology systems and applications across the business. We equip our colleagues with the most innovative tools to excel in their roles. As subject matter experts, we ensure a seamless transition to Business as Usual for ongoing support.

As an IT Project Support Officer, you will coordinate and assist in delivering technology projects, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and create training materials. You'll monitor technology changes, gather feedback, and support project transitions to Business as Usual (BAU). Collaborating with Service, Support, Security, and Data teams, you'll ensure technology enhances the customer and colleague experience.

You will:

  • Provide the appropriate range and quality of project documentation, including creating and update of reports, project plans and other key project documentation using the project governance guidelines and templates.

  • Carry out User acceptance testing of systems to ensure they meet quality standards

  • Produce written documentation to support your work, report on findings and present to stakeholders.

  • Subject Matter Expert for Technology Solutions and projects

  • Assist in the transition of technology systems and service into Business as Usual (BAU)

  • Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of technology projects

 

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for data analysis.

  • Experience in monitoring IT projects and reporting progress, ideally in the rail sector.

  • Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good analytical skills for resolving technical issues.
