Enhance analysis and drive revenue growth as Trading Performance Reporting Manager!
The Trading Performance Reporting Manager provides analytical capabilities to improve the analysis of product sales, customer, competitor, and market trends at both route and train levels. Supporting the Trading Performance Improvement Manager, you will identify revenue growth opportunities and actionable insights for initiatives planned 4-12 months ahead.
Key Accountabilities:
Collaborate with Revenue Managers to focus on KPIs and evaluate revenue management initiatives in a dynamic market.
Manage the Trading Performance Analyst to ensure the Revenue Trading team aligns actions with business outcomes.
Support continuous improvement in revenue management practices and processes to achieve significant revenue growth.
Identify opportunities from emerging demand and capacity to enhance revenue performance.
Deliver demand and revenue forecasting by day, route, and class.
Provide analysis and actionable insights on route performance, sales and distribution, demand and revenue forecasting, tactical marketing and retailing, SP & FC layout analysis, and evaluation of changes in revenue management and pricing.
Stay updated with revenue management practices in UK rail and other industries to continuously improve company practices and processes.
Key Requirements:
Revenue Management experience in a large complex organisation with a strategic view of Pricing and Yield Management.
Proven ability to work within a team to deliver performance improvement and build relationships.
Strong strategic and innovative thinking, with excellent communication and report writing skills.
Proficient in Revenue Management, pricing, and distribution management, with the ability to challenge assumptions and solve problems.
Dynamic and enthusiastic, with a degree or equivalent in Economics, Mathematics, or Operational Research.
